Cool Are All Keyboard Players Snobs?

Many moons ago, in a small band a buddy and I had formed I decided that a couple of songs I had written would benefit from some keyboards. I didn't play piano but I thought I'd give it a shot. Nope .. everybody who played keyboards said that it was way more complicated and difficult than playing a guitar. So, as that seemed to be the opinion of everybody we drafted someone in to play the parts.

Recently, because the prices were very low, I bought two full size keyboards. One Yamaha the other a Casio. And what do you know, playing chords is the same as a guitar, although you play LESS notes, and as the keyboard only has two long strings, a black one and a white one, even melody (playing lead) is much easier than playing a guitar.

Keyboards more difficult than guitar? I don't think so. Seems to me many ivory tinklers are outright snobs.

Anyway, both of these keyboards are astonishing when it comes to features, and the sound they produce is frankly quite amazing. Their built in drum kits actually sound better than a pro stand alone unit that I normally use. Even the sampled sounds are brilliant, the saxophone sections sounding like the real thing. How times have changed when it comes to sampled sounds.

So ... I am now playing keyboards ..... so Yaboo sucks to those pretentious snobs that put me off doing so all those years ago.

Are they all snobs..? No, just the ones who own a keytar.

My HEVC/H.265/x265 videos can be played with either VLC or MPC-HC

Do your demons, do they ever let you go..?
When you've tried, do they hide, deep inside..?
Is it someone that you know..?

I always wanted to play an instrument...never could. I've decided to kiss my music career goodbye for something easier and just solve the energy crisis.

I used to could blow on a comb wrapped in wax paper and make buzzy noises.

Oh you mean one of these.

Sure, it would be a lot easier to learn to play that as opposed to, I don't know, a ukulele, or a kiddie piano, or a kazoo.
