No one here in Germany can give his/her vote directly to Merkel.How does a person that Nobody likes keep getting elected..?
Our voting system is different to the one in the USA.
We can give our vote only to a certain party and if this party will win the majority of votes than they can determine a person who will get the job of the German Chancellor.
BTW Merkel got only 33% of the votes last year,that means that 67% has voted against her !
