They showed your special shape balloons taking off on the news today, Bond.

Yes. a day late. It's fun to see them floating around.

Growing up and until about 20 years ago, they would launch the balloons from a field relatively close to me, and we'd see them float above and sometimes land in our neighborhood, it was really cool. Godzilla once landed at my old elementary school 1 1/2 blocks away.
Then they moved to a field way north of here and we never see them now except for far-off glimpses in the sky. It sucks.
It was for 'safety reasons' as too many of them were getting caught in power lines. Pussies.

.....and they say dreams don't come true.....
They sell Weinerschnitzel chili in a can now! 5 damn dollars but wth it's great! woohoo!
I never made chili dogs at home because the other chilis don't measure up, now I can make Weiner dogs @ home! Weiner fries! - oooohh - Weiner nachos!
I'll fill ice trays with it and freeze them, then seal in a bag, and have however much I need on hand at all times!
    This is life-changing.

I'm happy for you but I'm not paying $5 for hot dog chili, even if it's Der Weinerschnitzel's chili.

I know, that hurts, but I think I can cheap it out using the freeze into single serving cubes thing, I already do that with pinto beans and chicken broth.
A 15-ounce can will give me about 12 cubes of it; each cube being good for 1 hotdog = probably 6 meals out of 1 can at about 85 cents chili cost per meal. Yes, I ran the numbers

*I do like how the ad says "Just $5 a can" - who are they trying to kid?

I'm happy with just the regular store brand chili with no beans.

Weinerschnitzel's chili dogs are good if you have the wrappers around them but home chili dogs tend to be eaten with a fork around here.

you guys can't harsh my buzz. My sister loves Weinerschnitzel too and they don't have them in Oregon except for one far away from her -she stuffs her face with it when she visits here - she'll be over the moon and beyond when she gets a surprise box with cans of the sauce from me

I have obtained 4 cans of Weinerschnitzel Chili.

I just made chili cheese dogs using the chili.
They were Magnificent. Will be even better when I dial in more closely the correct hot dogs and buns, but I didn't do too bad this 1st time.

    Also, something Frosty said......

The truth of this makes me want to go to DW and ask if they could sell me some wrappers.....
I can't really find anything on the 'net unless I buy a minimum of like 20,000.

Am I crazy enough to go to Weinerschnitzel and ask if they'd sell me like 50 wrappers? Would they? - That'd be awesomely authentic.

At what point does it become too dumb, and I should just eat at the freckin' Weinerschnitzel already? - Never!
