It seems from a quick look that everybody's mad at firefox for disabling necessary scripts, and greasemonkey is working on it?

Some people are going to chrome for more usability it appears.

Well, the Tampermonkey and the W.A.R. Links Checker Premium seem to be doing the job with the links (Thanks to Mental as always) so I can live with that.

To be completely honest, I can't even remember the last time I used Down Them All so it's not that big of a loss,
and I do have No Script (which I hardly ever use) and the Video Download Helper grabbed a youtube video last night so it worked.

Really about the only thing I really lost that sucks was the Download Status Bar that I had.
There was a replacement but it seems to suck balls, hasn't been updated in a few months and I uninstalled it.

I can live with this and it's much better than Chrome. It's pretty damn quick.
Hopefully down the road someone can figure out a fix/theme that fixes the damn retina searing white drop down menus,
and come up with something darker, perhaps even in black.
My HEVC/H.265/x265 videos can be played with either VLC or MPC-HC

    Greetings

I searched a lot for this issue, some people had suggested to use Firefox ESR until old addons get into the new firefox world or get replaced, but there are some great addons like "session manager" that can't be replaced easily specially since the new firefox uses an entirely different structure. Right now after two years we still don't have a good replacement for our old great session manager.

So I came to conclusion to use waterfox alongside the new quantum firefox. It supports both old and new addons and also gets security updates, the developer is also working on it to make it as fast as the new firefox. It's been my main browser after quantum happened.

Here is a useful spreadsheet to know about new replacements for your old addons.
