I bought some grass fed butter today. It's supposed to be...uh...I don't know...grassier?

I have never been happier that I don't drink coffee.....

I remember when we had that foot and mouth disease outbreak in this country years ago, I too jumped on the vegan bandwagon.
I think it lasted for about two weeks, when I was tempted by a wicked burger. Yum....(minus the butter).

As for the microwave bacon, I've been cooking it like that for years. You can also scramble an egg in the microwave, it's good.

I use a Presto Burger Maker for eggs. Just use the top upside-down as an electric skillet. It makes perfect round eggs that are great for sandwiches. And the eggs and the microwaved bacon are ready about the same time.

That papertowel/microwave trick works for frozen beef patties too.

so you just drink your butter straight then?

    ...

Speaking of cooking things in strange ways, I've tried cooking a
hamburger patty in a sandwich press, but it came out terrible.
The press is good for hash browns, though (maybe because the
frozen ones come saturated in oil).

They bake cookies on dashboards here.

Did you know you can cook a hotdog with a severed power cord? Just strip the ends of the wires and stick one in each end of the hotdog, then plug it in. This is good to know if you ever find yourself stranded and starving near an electrical outlet with a hotdog and a power cord in your pocket.

Oh yeah, and it's less messy than pan frying. Comes out perfect every time as long as you adjust the time right.
