Didn't Germany decide to take down their nuclear reactors after Fukoshima? Did they ever start decomissioning them?
I believe, the UK, still use Nuclear Energy. Do you think that will ever change?

yep - after brexit, we won't be able to afford fuel for nuclear energy - we'll be straight back down the coal mines

The fossil fuels are going to be expended one way or another. Let's applaud the countries (all but 3) that stuck with the Paris Climate Accord
and are at least trying to extend mankind's chance of survival on this planet.

    Crying parents tell their children
If you survive don't do as we did
A son exclaims there'll be nothing to do to
Her daughter says she'll be dead with you...

Is there a resource to find a breakdown of where the money goes, with regards to this agreement.
It seems kinda senseless to invest 3 billion dollars into a "non-binding" agreement.
I still have yet to see any information on exactly what happens with any of those funds.
Lots of people get upset over US pulling out but I yet to read any semblance of logic as to how we benefit by staying in.

And now they rape the whole country with wind parks and the prices for energy are high as hell now.

We as a planet benefit by reduced emissions.
It really doesn't do any good to reduce emissions if you are going to have a large nation such as China, Russia, us or India spewing out CO2 unchecked.

It's time to get past the pettiness of "what do it do for us and us only?"

We can change my statement about benefitting us to benefitting the world.
I stated it in the contxt of the US but really it can be applied to the total benefit to the planet.
Where does the money go to reduce climate change?
Commercials on TV lambasting threats of planetary destruction because you drove a car to work instead of riding a bicycle?

I totally agree. Every nation should do it's best to reduce emissions.

My question though, is where does the money which is donated to the Paris Climate agreement get spent.
For America it was $3,000,000,000 US. Who gets the money and how do they spend it.

It seems more prudent to keep the 3 billion dollars and invest it within our borders to reduce emissions rather than give it away and who knows what happens to it..
That's why I'm curious why an agreement like this is not merely a commitment but there is a monetary obligation/donation involved.
Who gets the money and how do they spend it?
    Does anyone know?
