Clinton or Trump ...... it seems to me that you lose either way. Granted Hilary Clinton might well be the lesser of two evils, but presidential material she is not. In fact, I admit to being quite startled at how weakly she came across as a candidate. I expected more from her. Hopefully she will win, but I doubt very much that you will enjoy her tenure.

Trump is telling people exactly what they want to hear. Laughably he is also making promises that he most certainly cannot keep. That said, it seems a great many people believe those empty promises. If he wins, they will be chewing on those broken promises for a very long time. At least four years .............. (Big Grin)

So, you have a choice between very dark days or very pointless days.

admittedly, clinton as president must be a worrying thing for catholics - there's an old prophecy, i remember reading about some 15-20 years ago, that held that we would at some stage be getting, in short order, a black president, a female president, and a black pope, and that this pope would be the last - whether that means the collapse of catholicism or simply a move to the adoption of a new kind of figurehead, i don't know, but still ..... whoo-oo-ooo (ghostly noise) - could just be a change in title from "pope" to "godfather" for all i know

anyhoo, i couldn't care much less about catholicism, but i'm thinking it might be worth sticking a tenner on at the nearest bookies

Without a doubt, yes!

It's considerably worrying that so many seemingly sane people have jumped on his looney tunes bandwagon.

It would be laughable if it weren't so damn terrifying.
