Don't think that would happen only in your area.
A town here in the near has ordered 43 new streetcars each for 3 Million Euro.
After the first were delivered and they want to test them they detected that the streetcar is 6 centimeter bigger then the station platform.

I think Putin may invade and grab more of Ukraine's land, maybe around Christmas time. He shot up and grabbed Ukrainian ships trying to get to their own ports. Russia, after taking Crimea, has restricted and harassed Ukraine's vital shipping in the Sea of Azov to the point it's an act of war, reports said. Putin could invade and have control of the whole sea and the Ukraine ports in no time flat. I think any Western power intervening is unlikely.

However, it was strange Ukraine sent the 3 now captured ships on that mission, as they had to know what Russia would do in that specific situation.
Something stinks. Somebody's up for re-election or something.

This is big, BBC has it, but the only mention of it on major American front page news is an opinion piece on CNN.

Ukraine has elections early next year and those in power look likely to lose
Marshall law will give them the excuse to delay them

You'd think as people retire and age they'd stay up late and sleep in. I know I will.

Why do they go to bed at 5:30 and get up at 3am?

I'd suspect a grand conspiracy, but I don't see the point. Unless it's just to inconvenience the people around you.........Ah Hah!

It's time once again for an update of the epic failure Albuquerque Rapid Transit system, ART.

Still not working. Brand new and unused, but abandoned and aging. All the painting on 8 miles of supposed bus lanes has now worn off due to weather.

Supposed to be finished almost 2 years ago, it's now dragged on almost 3 years with no end in sight.
The latest thing I could find about it was this in December 2018
    https://www.krqe.com/news/albuquerqu...que/1640545721

They ordered the new buses after returning the old-new buses which didn't work. Who knows how long it will take.

Here's a pic of one of the bus 'stations' in the middle of the street where people are supposed to stand and wait for the bus. Hideous isn't it. I mean wth is that a mutant sombrero or something? A Gandalf hat? A Harry Potter sorting hat?

Here shows a station and the lanes closed for buses only on each side, lanes that have been closed for 3 years now - for 8 miles of the main street of town - while the buses run along with the regular traffic.

We've been told to stay out of the buses only lanes, and only make a left hand turn at major intersections to get used to the way it will work when it finally opens.
Everybody now is starting to use the buses only lanes again and making left turns wherever. Police are not enforcing against that. Kinda chaotic and it makes driving down the street interesting.

Well, at least we're going to finish it some time (I think), not like California, which only has a couple buildings now turned into bars to show for $3.5 billion spent on high speed rail.

Ha I figured out what that thing looks like:

and also, I spent today trying to get one thing done, and because of the blinding, unbelievable incompetence of the people I was trying to use to get it done, I failed.

if they had made the roofs from a solid material, they could have
then mounted solar panels on top - to feed back into the grid or
    store for the night lights.

The roof is actually made of solar cells, a new technology used by the forward-looking designers of the..........
