First of all, I'm very glad you got through that.

I went to the doctor recently, been having headaches almost every day and then my vision started getting really blurry. Long story short, my blood pressure is extremely high, and I was told I'm on the verge of a major stroke or heart attack. I'm on meds now, but it looks like a long road back to "normal" (okay, I'm flattering myself by using that word).

Second of all, getting older sucks. Just ask Frosty.

I'm pretty sure we all could do better at taking care of ourselves.

I'm old, you're Canadian...we all have our crosses to bear.

Seriously though, you need to take better care of yourself.

we could ..... and i sometimes like to picture our faces, mirthless and full of lost opportunity, as we blow out the candles on our 100th birthday cakes

I read this in Werner Herzog's voice.

Feeling a bit of buyer's remorse.

While I like my new shirt well enough, I just found these 2 sites where I can custom make my own shirt with tons of Who options.

    Code:
    https://www.spreadshirt.com/doctor+who+t-shirts
    https://www.teepublic.com/t-shirts/doctor-who
...and yes, I'd pay $40 for a damn cool shirt.

    a bit annoyed

i was determined i wouldn't lose any work time from having a heart attack (other than being signed off in the immediate aftermath), but had to phone in sick today

not because of heart troubles but because i had buggered my dodgy old man hip doing the fecking cardiac exercise class i have to go to and couldn't walk properly

if they don't get you 1 way, they'll get you another .....

I'm sorry, sp. You'll get better, and with your heart stuff all cleaned out you'll be doing wind sprints soon.

Also it's interesting how words mean different things in different places, especially when taken out of context.
