I feel very amused today, because of the English language of Lothar Matthäus... Captain of the German Football World Champion Team of 1990

I heard the coach of the USA today,Jürgen Klinsmann, his English is perfect! For a German,of course.

I saw Duo De Twang (supported by Andrew O'Neill) yesterday evening at the Islington Assembly Hall. Their rendition of Stayin' Alive is very good. Well anything Les Claypool does is good in my book. As Andrew rightly pointed out, the middle of the week at Islington Assembly Hall is pretty much as heavy metal as it gets nowadays.

I'd like to get out more often, but fighting 8 million people to get on a train or walk down a stretch of pavement is depressing (I've tried to make this point already).
So I'll go down to some lonesome valleyWhere no man on earth shall there me find
Where the pretty little small birds do change their voices
And every moment blows blusterous wind.
