What's your mood today ?

I would say my mood for the morning is "content".

Hubby's out of town at the moment, kid is watching TV/playing with his XBox One (no school today), one of the cat's is soaking up the sunshine by the window
and the other one is on his back, belly showing...it's possible that he could be dead but he appears to be breathing and I'm uploading TV shows.

Dishes are done, no laundry to do and I made chicken salad for the kid's lunch today (and me tomorrow) and I'll be having a salad so lunch is mostly covered.

There have been much worse days around here. I might even get off my lazy ass and check the mail later.

The kid will be "out of school" (lol) from the 21st until the 2nd.

while i enjoy catching up on the tournaments and watching online matches, i've never actually been much cop myself at chess - i just don't have the patience to try and plan that far ahead - i have the chess equivalent of an itchy trigger finger

over the last few months, i've really given trying to improve a decent shot - playing several games a day, watching a ton of videos trying to learn a few tricks

just recently, i've been testing my rating via computer opposition/training - turns out i'm somewhere "strong social player" and "average tournament player" on the uscf ratings scale

of course, that's dependent on a lot of concentration and largely staying sober so who's got time for that? - still, it's nice to know i could give the devil a run for his money if i ever get stuck inside a bergman movie

My mood today is resigned.

I have to wake early and take the truck down to the vehicle inspection place to get the emissions test done,
and I'll probably go down to one of the tag shops to get the tags another day before the end of the month.

... and since I'll be in that area, I'll get the grocery shopping out of the way.

That Harvest House of Cannabis one is the video on Grant is the only one anywhere near the house and it's a fair distance.

I'm hoping eventually something here near the South side will open up.

I was checking the prices on their website and I really miss the days when a small amount of weed didn't cost $40.
