Except for one day, maybe once every couple/few years. Just like my rare insomnia.

Today I an not in a good mood. Life kinda sucks for me and I don't like it. I had to take mum to the doc today. They made us wait and while I didn't go off, it was damn close. My mother had no idea.

I'm staying away from everyone on a day like today, fortunately they are very rare.

This is from 8 months ago. I'm having another bad mood day today. Couldn't sleep last night; nothing has gone right this morning, I get no appreciation for what I do from anyone, in fact the opposite.

Waiting in line at the grocery store a lady with a few items just pushed her way in front of the 3 of us waiting without even asking and I had to actually bite my tongue. It worked.
Again my mother had no idea I'm in this mood.

No harm done, I feel better now already and will have hopefully a nice relaxing rest of the day, but only God can help anyone who comes around here and fucks with me today.

    Have a nice day

Just got back from taking my mother to her endocrinologists' appointment.
Across town is where it is, a 20 minute drive; finally arrived, went in, and asked which floor Dr Gleesons' office is on, and was told he had moved to a different office, 5 minutes away from Mom's house. I called them to change the appointment.............

.............and was told it was a telephone appointment. So I didn't have to get up early, didn't need to load Mom up w/wheelchair etc., and drive across town -
didn't even have to leave the house.

was hoping i'd be walking again by now but i'm still feeling the effects of whatever it was that happened at the beginning of september

if i leave the house, i'm wearing 1 normal shoe and 1 sandal (because my foot can't get into a normal shoe without much pain)

i am wearing a surgical sock with the sandal, which is dangerously close to the most awful of fashion faux pas

i'm also using a crutch to limp around on, although a lot of that is due to vanity - at work, i can hobble around well enough without the crutch but, out in public, it seems the right thing to do to use the crutch to draw extra attention to my disadvantage so that people don't just think i'm some kind of weirdo who wears odd shoes and socks with sandals ......

It struck me last night that I've not tied a pair of laces since I started working from home back in March. Wonder if I still remember how...?
