    pedantic

that kid from the sixth sense merrily asserts that his big secret is that he "sees" dead people

even if we discount all the other senses discovered before the release of this movie (anywhere from 9 to 21), surely "seeing" is still one of the original given 5???

    do your bloody homework, shyamalan

I've only half-watched the movie once - could he also 'hear' dead people?

I'd think he'd have mentioned if he could smell dead people.

I loved that movie. Though I always remember that part where the woman with the cut wrists is in the kitchen. And always as I have to go downstairs to the bathroom in the middle of the freaking night.

I've never forgiven Shyamalan. And it has nothing to do with some of the shit films he made after that. There is no facepalm emote. If there were, I would have used it here. Use your imagination broken people. Or your sixth sense.....lol

When posting, If you click on the more link under the regular smileys and the window pops up, the facepalm is the last one in the second block of smileys.

    stressed

went to my pharmacy 12 days ago to pick up the 2nd batch of my new meds - got 4 of them on the day, 2 missing

was asked to come back later in the week and they'd contact my doctor for the other 2

(some background: in the 18 months i think i've been with this pharmacy, they've got my prescription correct once)

went back in last friday and was told the pharmacy's driver had picked it up from the doctors but they couldn't find whever they'd put it - pop back in a few days and it will all be fine - in the meantime, they gave me a 7 day emergency supply

today, i had a text saying it's ready to be picked up - went in to get it - was told it's not quite ready yet so i'd have to wait a little while

it was at this point i slammed my fist onto their counter

went back half an hour later to be told here it is, it's all ready for you - opened the bag to discover the wrong meds - in fact, a supply of my old meds that you're not allowed to take if you've had a heart attack

with impressive restraint, i asked for the manager - at this point my correct meds miraculously appeared

they asked me whether i would like them to order my meds for the next time - resisting the urge to laugh in their faces, i just said no and left with my prescriptions to go find another pharmacy

i am absolutely serious when i say i would rather go through the heart attack again than go through the frustration of dealing with these idiots again

I'm sorry, sp. You shouldn't have to go through this aggravation.

I may not around for a bit sometimes, as I've joined the Space Force.
That's me on the end. I surreptitiously replaced an existing astronaut and they haven't caught on yet.

Extra points for identifying the group of astronauts pictured (not individual names) and the referenced movie without looking it up.
