I do admit tennis is an acquired taste . We're missing out on perhaps Federer's last good season, and that's sad.

I hope they don't cancel the NFL though. 1st game Sep. 10, who knows where we'll be then, huh. geez. Spring training starts in July.

I want to see ol' Brady out there as a Buccaneer, just for the Bizzaro effect of it. I wonder if he'll tell them all the Bellichick cheats.

NFL is trying to say it's business as usual, except for cancelling their Annual League Meeting.

However, I'm pretty sure the writing is on the wall - arenas are absolutely the biggest place to spread the virus and ground zero for trying to slow it down. If the NFL isn't going to do it, local regulations are probably going to - before the NBA suspended its season, the Warriors were making preparations to play games in empty stadiums. I'm pretty sure this would happen to any other team that wants to play - the 49ers, the Rams, and the Chargers at least (all three teams play in areas where gatherings of more than 10 people are banned). If the NFL doesn't adapt a standard policy, it's going to cause a lot of confusion - you know, fans able to attend some games in places not affected, other games played without fans. I sincerely hope the NFL isn't going to try to proceed like business as usual when all other professional leagues have hit the pause button.

I am curious to know how tennis will play out. French Open supposedly postponed until September, but the U.S Open raising objections since that's their month. in addition, players are expressing doubts about switching from playing on clay court to hard court so quickly. (I don't know much about how much training or adjustment players need when going from different surfaces.)

Any real NFL games wouldn't start until September anyway.

Baby hair with a woman's eyes, I can feel you watching in the night..
All alone with me and we're waiting for the sunlight, when I feel cold you warm me...
When I feel I can't go on you come and hold me, it's you and me forever...

Sara Smile, won't you smile a while for me?

I mean, if we are missing live sports, I can always live stream my son kicking my but on FIFA, UFC, I even think we have Tennis World Tour somewhere.
The competition won't be good but you can at least laugh as I get caned time and again.
I could even include the audio where he mocks me for being old and pathetic.

    Fun for all the family!

Each surface, hard, grass, and clay, has it's own 'season', with warm up tournaments on that surface preceding each big tournament for a month or so.
If you throw that away players won't be able to adjust properly and you'll get error-filled matches. There may be more injuries, too, as players try to go from sliding on clay to stepping on hard courts and break ankles.
    I'd still watch it though.
