Sorry about the Spurs, Frosty. Great series from what I hear.

It was a good series and my hat's off to the clippers.

A few people on another forum I visit couldn't believe me earlier when I said that realistically I didn't see them going very far this year.
Timmy's was playing well, but Parker was injured and Manu is pretty much done
(he really can't move fast anymore and for a shooting guard, that's fatal)

I really look for them to give Kawhi Leonard his max contract next season and they'll try to go after PF/C LaMarcus Aldridge from the Blazers next season.
Those 2 and a healthy Parker (who still has some good years left) should keep us competitive for years to come.
As much as I'd love to see Timmy go for another year, I'd hate to see him do what so many other players have done and play too long and tarnish his legacy.
He's 39, has millions and millions of dollars and 5 rings...life has been good to him and he shouldn't push it.

Of course we are still getting the "it's too early to talk about retirement" statement from both him and Manu
but even if Timmy does play one more year, I think the Spurs will retire Manu whether he likes it or not.
The best he can hope for is a year of getting splinters in his ass sitting on the bench and being played only in mop up games.

Game 7 in Houston for the Clippers, gotta pull one out on the road, go Clippers!

I'm rooting for the Clippers even though I lived in Houston; they named their Stadium TOYOTA Center! In Houston! Sacrilege!

    Unhappy

    damn, Clippers lost
could say a lot of things
like they choked, lack of experience in playoffs,
they ran out of steam, Chris Paul too little too late, etc.

but Clippers just didn't want it as bad as Houston

    the better team won

Gotta give it to the Rockets coming back from 3 to 1 down.

Home court meant alot in the series too.

Doesn't look good for the Cav's, with Lebron's team all broken.

They can still win if he scores 115 points every game, but that's gonna be hard with 4 guys guarding him.
