Hey guys and gals,
don't want to ruin the party but right now i'm totally pissed off!
Some lousy bastard managed to steal my mobile phone out of my jacket right after midnight while we were cheering together with a "couple" of other folks
Spent the rest of the night with locking down anything that has to do with my finances/bank-accounts (damn smartphones and their userfriendly apps) and changing passwords all over the place.
Nonetheless:

There's just too many ways they can rip you off now days
and having it all in one convenient phone just makes it easier.
Here's my big old dumbphone.
$29.99 for a card to recharge it every two months. I get 2 months air time and 300 minutes.
It's good for local and long distance calls.
On the plus side, you can stack the minutes as long as you don't let the air time run out,
so right now I have over 5500 minutes.
On the minus side, I can't play Angry Birds.
My HEVC/H.265/x265 videos can be played with either VLC or MPC-HC

I'm with Frosty, I just have a basic phone with prepaid minutes. $20 a month for 400 minutes.
I stepped outside last night to taste the air of the new year. It smelled like gunpowder, so pretty much nothing has changed. I won't say happy new year, because it doesn't mean anything. I'll just say Happy New Calendar.
