Be careful and stay safe. 12 inches or so could be painful for you guys.

Does anybody know how the story really goes, how the story really goes, or do we all just hum along..?

On a completely sunny day with one tired looking cloud over us, it is raining, has been for about 7-10 minutes
and though we aren't going to have to worry about flooding...it's a nice amount of rain. It can't last though.

Currently raining fairly steady but not anything malignant.

Today's had the sweet misfortune of being slightly less hot but 10x as muggy.

I went to get an envelope out of the box to send a bill in, and they were all sealed.

Dollar store. 30 envelopes with that peel off strip. Fucking genius idea. I hope the person who invented it is rich and living on an private island banging strippers.

    Genius should be rewarded.

It rained....maybe an hour and it was pretty scary for a few minutes but all we got was water over here, folks closer to the mountain got small size hail.
After that it just rained normal for a while and then BOOM, sun's out and the rain is gone, and I'm afraid it washed the spider out.

We could use some of that rain. Very dry year here - currently 30mm soil moisture deficit. I'm expecting water restrictions will be announced soon...

Until this monsoon season, it was an awfully dry year here every year.

Here's last year, and we were having it rough again.

This year it seems everyone else is having it much worse than we are. California could use some rain before it burns down as well.

Nevada is having it rough as my sister keeps telling me, and I think Bond's state has a little less red bits or maybe they just moved around this year.
