The sky is clear here so we can see the blood moon between 9.00pm and 10.30pm.

Not too bad right now. 100F/37C and 23% humidity.

It looks like it may be getting slightly damp for the next week or so. Maybe.

Of course the way the weather and weatherman works around here, tomorrow it might be 117 for the next week and not a drop of rain.

Last night it rained cats and dogs, pots and pans. It was a quite small storm that came in from the west and stalled up against the mountain then rained out apparently above my neighborhood, from the radar I saw.

It was great, and delightfully cool this morning

It's still lightly sprinkling here but it was pretty heavy earlier for about an hour or so.

At 10PM it was only 79 degrees but 69% humidity.

We just got 3 minutes of golf-ball size hail. Biggest I've ever seen here. It was loud.
I have a large metal cover over part of my back yard, a metal awning over the kitchen window, and also exposed a/c duct on the roof. It sounded almost like gunfire for a minute. I can see the dents on the metal cover, they're big. From the sound of it the duct may be damaged.

I'll go look at my truck windows now, gimme a minute..........they're ok. phew. I'll look at the duct and roof tomorrow, that stuff can damage roof shingles pretty badly.

It's pretty windy (gusty even) and it rained harder than hell earlier.
The guys are home now but I was nervous as hell until they got here.

m'brother once had hail so bad that it smashed through some
laserlite (corrugated polycarbonate) roofing at the side of his
    house.

edit: the second half to this annecdote is that it was covered
by insurance, but the tradesmen that did the repairs did such
a half-arsed job that the wayward screws draw my eye every
    time I visit.

It's still hot here and it stays so the whole week.Last time it was so long so hot in 1975 !
The water in our rivers is to warm and the fishes start dying.
Our township has requested us to watering the trees in the streets.

Hartwig says he waters his yard and garden every day but it's still dying.

I'm sorry, that's bad. I hope it gets better very soon.

we are saddened by all those who have to deal with the hot and stormy weather

we are especially saddened by the fires that continue to destroy, we have kept silent about this too long

Please pray for these to end soon

    Our prayers for this too

I used to not care much about thunderstorms, but now that I have this brand new shiny Titanium hip, they scare the hell out of me. All I can think of is "here's the lightning rod, hit me"
