We might get a bit of rain this afternoon but not for very long if at all.

It probably won't last more than a day or two but the lack of triple digits is a good start.

It's currently nice and cloudy and 78F/26C at 8:30 in the morning.
My HEVC/H.265/x265 videos can be played with either VLC or MPC-HC

Does anybody know how the story really goes, how the story really goes, or do we all just hum along..?

Sun is out, no clouds. Rained fairly hard for about a minute and then stopped.
    No rain yesterday at all.

We seem to be back to normal - bright spells, scattered showers with occasional longer spells of rain. 15C

Just the slightest chill in the air these last 2 mornings.

    I love fall here.

I got up shivering last night and turned off the air to the swamp cooler (only the air was running, I turned the pump off earlier),
and crawled back in bed and here came my fat house cat wanting to snuggle and be covered under the blanket.

93F now, supposed to be 97 later. Rest of the week is low 90's & low to middle 60's in the morning.

never say this while hiking on a mountain, just metres from the summit.

Apparently it rained like hell for about 15 minutes last night. Woke up to the aftermath.

Chilly in the mornings. I've cranked up my little 200 watt electric heaters (they're wonderful) as well as a propane portable buddy for a zap of good heat in the mornings. High 40's is nippy indoors, but I'm trying to put off and limit using my furnace from now on - thermals and sweaters in the house. We'll see how it works out.

Winter is coming, like Game of Thrones; I need at least one more month of no freeze for my buds, if global warming works with me I'll have it and more. We will see.

The last 2 nights it's rained while we were sleeping. Not loud enough to wake us up, but enough to notice when we got up.

It's a tiny bit nippy in the morning but we haven't used the furnace yet.

Guess what? Yep - mild, damp and breezy. Around 14C. Not too bad but we, too will need to think about heating soon.
