I'm having to intermittently wear some sort of light jacket.

Though I'm sure our members from colder regions will be along shortly to tell me to go **** myself.
My HEVC/H.265/x265 videos can be played with either VLC or MPC-HC

My furnace stopped working again sometime during the night (it's an intermittent millivolt thermostat problem).
The cold hit me as soon as I threw off the blankets to get up - the low outside was 25. Hastily grabbing and wearing the blankets, I found and fixed the problem, but I have floor furnaces (no fan), and it takes them forever to heat up a cold house. Inside temperature was 41.

    Brrrr

It's a damn good thing that you knew what you are doing. Most of us would be totally screwed.

Thank you, but I just shorted the stat terminals with a paper clip so it fired up and overcame the mechanical block to the low voltage. It's really easy on a heat-only thermostat, just take the cover off and touch-connect the 2 screw terminals with paper clip bent however you need until you get the unit to fire up.
