There's possible rain in the forecast, thanks Frosty, let's go rain!
I know, it hit 113 today and that didn't feel as bad as the 109 before the rain hit the day before.

Honestly, i know I'm not supposed to say this living in a desert during a drought but I'd rather have the high heat than lower temps with the jacked up humidity.

It's supposed to be a wimpy 108 before the rest of the week being "lower" temps like 105, 106..etc.

It's been raining and very humid several days now, 86% today.
You stick to everything. Furniture, car seats. Tear yourself out of bed in the morning. Ich.
Fortunately it's cooled down so heat is not a problem too.

We got a fair amount of rain yesterday and there's a lot of rain going on today but not anywhere near us.

We still have the humidity though...

Sun's out so the humidity's down to about 35% now but it was 80% this morning.

We're currently getting the "we might get a few stray showers later tonight" bullshit.

I literally stood in the front yard and watched it rain across town today so we got none of the "fun" and all the humidity.

...and you better bet that each day will have a useless scattered shower 20 miles away so it can be hot AND humid.

    ^^^^^^^^^^^

Hot and humid, welcome to the entire month of July in Jersey. We had a downpour 30min ago, made it worse. 92, 80% humidity. As long as there's no thunder, it's run and dive in the pool if I ever get done with work, rain or no rain.

Thank God my company is paying the electric bill because of the server racks I have in the next room, the A/C is running 24x7

Pool water temp is 85, I feel like we already moved to SC

Warmer here today, but still very comfortable compared to you poor steamer dwellers...

The east side of town got a better deal but we did get about 30 minutes of semi-decent rain, (enough to wet the ground but dry an hour after it was over)
but it did knock 108F down to 101F in an hour or so and just at the right time. (sunset) high was 110F/43C

Tropical storm warnings even where we live till tomorrow night. We battened down the hatches and have big time generator backup.

Hopefully one of the net ISP connections we have will stay up, we'll see.
