w'browsing a file extension and there was an option to rate it out of five stars.
The grey thing below is the top of one of the stars on a ~1300x700 screen.

it never ceases to shit me to tears when browsing a site which
uses 'infinite scroll' and you accidentally click on a pic, then click
back, only to find yourself at the top again.

Saturday I went to Walmart and got hubby a 6 pack of the George brand boxer briefs (Walmart's own) and got the kid a 10 pack of Hanes briefs and spent $37.

Baby hair with a woman's eyes, I can feel you watching in the night..
All alone with me and we're waiting for the sunlight, when I feel cold you warm me...
When I feel I can't go on you come and hold me, it's you and me forever...

Sara Smile, won't you smile a while for me?

Ha, just found 30 Rock for free on Fire tv.......ok I'll watch it. I've only seen about 1/3 to 1/2 of the episodes, I think.

I'll ff past scenes with Tracy and Jenna, who frankly bug tf out of me; and concentrate on Liz and Jack, who kill me.

It should go pretty quick, and be good fun.

You see a nice technological idea that might suit a need you have; you carefully do your research and buy the best you can afford. Having received it, you set it up (using the manual) and check that it works as intended. Then, sit back with satisfaction expecting many years of service from the product. Right?

Not if you bought home automation kit from Nest; or a fancy fitness tracker from Under Armour; or multi-room speakers from Sonos.
In each case, the company decided to stop supporting the devices from a certain date. The Nest gear was bricked; the UnderArmour fitness tracker could download some of the information on it; and the Sonos gear wouldn't work with newer gear.

What will they switch off next? Mobile phones? Laptops?.....CARS??!!!

Lesson - don't buy anything that is connected to the internet that doesn't need to be connected to the internet e.g. fridges, lightbulbs, speakers, cars.

Note: after Sonos got a deluge of complaints, they responded and announced a rethink. They have promised that old kit will still work and will work with newer kit (once they figure out how to do it). Fair play to them

Good advice. The feed from my new security cam, for example, has to travel thousands of miles minimum to reach the tablet I monitor it on, 20 feet away. Ridiculous. If I use Alexa to monitor it on my tv's it then has to go through Amazon's servers too, and it takes 10-15 seconds or so to get there. Not good if you need to see who's at your door quickly.
I want a wired standalone system, but this was $25...
