(Ends up on Sunday night with a large can and a small can of cat food, mixed with the dry food and milk for a change up.)

And that's not counting the extra meat and milk for Hoppy which is starting to get dialed down a bit due to her gaining the weight she needed..

Whoe do they think they are? And why do they lose the plot so completely? Successful people who lose touch with reality and do really, really stupid things.

For example - Carlos Ghosn is a big, big wheel in the global auto industry; head of Renault/Nissan and whoever else they bought recently. He is/was one of the most successful people in the business. And then he gets arrested in Japan for some kind of financial shenannigans. I don't know if he's guilty, but certainly he did something stupid with money. Why? It's not as if he was likely to go hungry, or not be able to afford a house, or whatever he wanted. Why risk it all for a bit more money (or a bit less tax)?

Delusions of grandeur? Plain greed? ???

    Beats me

My german friends' dad is a very wealthy and well known person who either missed on accounting or tried to hide about $200,000 of income and went to jail for a year for it.
The tax money saved could not have meant a thing to him.

@Frosty: You know, it strikes me you could make a very appealing and possibly quite profitable youtube channel with your cat adventures if you were ever inclined to do so.
I bet a ton of people would contribute. You could probably do it in a manner where you remain anonymous.

Oh, no. I just feed some hungry cats but there are people out there doing God's work. (I know I'm an Atheist but...)

    This one's a favorite of mine...Kitten Lady.

There are quite a few others but she's a champion. We've sent a small check or two to her.

Went to Walmart tonight to pick up a few things and I've never seen a grocery section more picked bare than it was there,
and I swear the beer section had a tumbleweed blowing through it.

I was just picking up a few ordinary things as we are going to eat at Golden Corral this year,
so we'll either show up at 10AM and have Thanksgiving brunch/lunch or get it to go and come back here and eat while watching football.

We could go later and have dinner but all the turkey day stuff is gone by then and tacos for holidays aren't my thing.

P.S. Was at Fry's the other day and bought a 10lb spiral ham for $30 and got a 15lb frozen turkey for free,
so we'll probably eat ham for most of the week and save the turkey for X-mas.

Cleaned the computer room & the litter box in it and dumped it in the garbage can outside then come back in to fix me a drink in the kitchen,
only to hear a few small peeps and see that Hoppy followed me inside for something.

Warmed up a bit of milk in a Dixie cup in the microwave and poured it in a bowl, then she lapped it up and headed for the back door to go back and play with her siblings.
There's nothing more adorable than that "See you later. Bye." look she gives just before she races off on those cute tiny legs.

you could almost leap from one to the other if you got a long enough run up
