it's being reported that daniel craig has been persuaded to sign up to appear in 2 more bond movies, the first of which is due in 2019

that is, of course, as long as the scheduling doesn't interfere with his turn being the white house communications director

i must admit, i'm a little bit cautious about trying this series, which is maybe the problem for some of the potential audience - i'm sure i will at some point but, being a bit of a shakespearo, i can't help thinking it all looks a bit too colourful and punky - i worry that i'd be sitting there the whole time saying things like "marlowe had a better beard" or "kemp would have had bells on"

it is a bit of fluff, and a personal choice to be sure

I studied Shakespeare's plays and sonnets in high school and college, and I do love them

but there are some interesting takes, besides the "colorful and punky"

for instance, Shakespeare in Will is a Catholic, Marlowe is a Queen's Spy (he was historically) and he found out Will is Catholic, but
doesn't turn him in (it was death to be one under Elizabeth pretty much), as he sees Will's greatness and is desperate to re-find his
(Marlowe's drunken Gay Orgies no longer do it for him), hoping that Will will find it for him

we like it a lot, but not everyone's cup of tea

    Marlowe in Will FYI

RIP Mr. Campbell, and thank you.

When we were kids my parents used to play Wichita Lineman all the time and we loved it.
An amazing musician with a great voice.

Yes, and such a nice guy. What a terrible way to go. But at least he made so many people happy.

Hearing 'Rhinestone Cowboy' is one of my earliest childhood memories.

    Rest In Peace, Mr. Campbell.

    Crying parents tell their children
If you survive don't do as we did
A son exclaims there'll be nothing to do to
Her daughter says she'll be dead with you...

Sitting here listening to the cat licking his foot and rubbing his nose with it, and I finally tell him "enough" and start petting him to distract him.
Slowly but surely he maneuvers my hand to his nose so I can rub it, then he licks my hand and goes back to rubbing his nose with it.

So all I did was substitute his foot for my hand.
