    I just woke up and...

I just woke up and found that close to a half year of my life is missing?!
Why didn't you lot wake me up? Geez.
Nah, seriously, I was sort of mia.

Its been 'some' time indeed. What can I say? Real Life consumed way 2 much time, most free time was used taking care if a 90 year old aunt who's suffering from alzheimer (went to hospital, then to a temporary home awaiting a final place in the town my wife and I live, then clearing the house she lived for the last 30 years) and my 80y old mother. Real life (including my own health) forced me to cut down online time to a minimum. I hoped to find dome time to visit Broken in January but even that turned out to be impossible.

Next to that some good news: I was told that I turned old by my daughter.
Well, maybe, just maybe, she didn't' put it that way. Maybe the exact words were "Dad, you are going to be a granddad'

Anyway. life is still a bitch but things are getting less hectic so I hope to find some time to catch up here.
My guess is you lot didn't add much in half a year so it will take oh, maybe 10 minutes?

    CU

p.s. I'm not the only one mia. Needfullthingz board went down.
Gone. Vanished. My trusted place for errrr semi-legal stuff. Sniff.
Sure, warez-bb and gully are still online but these aint half as good as needfullthingz.

we set the snooze button on your alarm clock to 15minutes, but
may have accidentally added a few decimal places.

I can sympathize with you on that. Last month my Mother in law passed (cancer) and Hubby, Junior & I are just now getting caught up with the finality of it.
She might have made it a bit into 2017 but I'm still chalking it up to 2016 being a pretty shitty year in general (even excluding politics).
It's awful having to go through someone else's things at the end & not being able to give it the proper respect it deserves.

So as not to be entirely morbid, congratulations Grandpa.

Good to have you back, Duke. I was thinking about you the other day and hoping you were ok. Congratulations on becoming a grandad. There is one thing about being a grandad - you get to sleep with a granny!
