you know when you use google search and it will sometimes suggest
a business which matches some of the keywords, based on your location?

I did a search with duckduckgo and it suggested a takeaway pizza shop

    ...in France.

note: I live somewhere beyond a 30min delivery time of this shop.

    price? yes.

    of food poisoning? no.

edit: to put things in perspective, I recently had a parcel arrive
from the UK. Due to the current global situation it took six weeks
    to get here.

he is happy to see 'blurry bigfoot footage' style evidence of your existence,
after a 'perhaps you didn't realise you were gone/silent that long' absence.

oh, i'm always lurking ..... like a creepy uncle at a rare family get-together, that you suddenly turn your head and notice standing silently in the corner, looking straight at you with a disconcerting smile

I've worked for 2 years with a guy (bloke or chap in the vernacular) from Manchester, and have had at least one notable British online friend.
There's something about them. The dry wit, perhaps, the inspired/often hilarious use of different words to describe people and things; the outlook on life.
It's something you don't get from any other culture

Honestly you couldn't make this stuff up...

Spanish porn star (Nacho Vidal) held by police after man dies at his house from inhaling poisonous toad fumes.
