A court in Munich has ordered this after a few rightholders have complaint about the site.
zippyshare is also down if you have a german ip.
I only use torrents for downloading regular stuff these days. If you are into torrents I can send you an invite to ip torrent, a private tracker.

It's perplexing when I walk outside and find a kitty dead for unknown reasons.
Grey/black one about 3 to 4 months old just laying by the oleanders and no obvious signs of trauma.
I don't know if I saw him at their dinner time or maybe he was already laying there and I missed him but I know I saw him this morning and he looked fine.

It's sad but it's clearly not my first rodeo. I bagged him and took him to the dumpster I use for that because it isn't next to anyone's business or home.

You can use your illusion, let it take you where it may...
We live and learn, and then, sometimes, it's best to walk away...
Me, I'm just here hanging on, it's my only place to stay at least for now, anyway...
I've worked too hard for my illusions just to throw them all away...

    so, synaesthesia...

I was looking up something about aftershave and started reading
posts on one of those shaving forums. Within a few unrelated pages
I had seen multiple people talking about their regimes of "layering"
deodorant + aftershave + cologne and just reading that made me
feel as if I could smell the overpowering miasma through my monitor.

Oleander is poisonous; all parts of the plant. Rodents and birds are not affected, but mammals are. Maybe...

No, the cats and kitties have been pretty good about keeping away from it (internally at least) and I've seen poisoned kitties, they don't just lay down and die.
It's more of a contorted painful death with lots of noise.

I don't think that was why he died because I'd have a lot more dead kitties on my hands, if that was the case.

have one of these (rubik's magic)

and thought I'd unjumble it and get it back to its starting configuration.

Even with diagrams/instructions it took me 1/2hr, including being stuck in
a couch-like shape for 5min. Each to their own, but this is not fun at all.

I saw a live webcam vid from the Great Lakes in youtube recommeded, went there and started quoting lyrics from "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" in the chat, just for grinz.

Others joined in by quoting the lyrics too, and it turned out to be a kind of chat sing-along. We went through the whole song, and it's a long one. Great Lakes people are fun

The legend lives on from the Chippewa on down
Of the big lake they called gitche gumee

I recently discovered that there was an action figure toy line for the
movie, Virus (1999). You know, that one-off survival horror movie with
no memorable characters aside from Donald Sutherland's maybe-tone-
    it-down-a-bit-dude villainous sea captain?
