My weight loss continues as I just haven't been hungry for some time now, I generally eat just one meal a day, and I have gone from a 36 waist to damn near a 32 and lots of old clothes fit now.
I feel fine otherwise, simply not hungry. Want to lose weight? Try extended stress.
I saw my neighbor yesterday, haven't seen them up close for some time as they had covid and hid out for the last couple months.
I was overweight before and he was in good shape; he has o boy gained some weight lemme tell ya he's a big guy now, and I am a mere shadow of my former self.
We looked at each other, trying to comprehend our switched roles, and made small talk with no mention of "Damn, did you eat your kids?" or "What the Hell happened to you? You're half gone!" It was kinda fun.
I've learnt to be very careful commenting on someone's weight loss. Some years ago, when visiting an old friend, I noted that he had lost weight and that it suited him. There was a short silence, which I didn't take any notice of.
A few weeks later, his diagnosis was confirmed - terminal lung cancer. That was why he was losing weight. Deep embarrassment on my part. He died a few months later.
And I learnt one lesson
The OS on my phone just updated, and now instead of swiping to the side to close an app, now you have to swipe up.
The whole world's gone crazy.
