And in non-carbonated news...Jean Luc Picard is coming back though he's not going to be on the Enterprise.

Patrick Stewart to Reprise 'Star Trek' Role in New CBS All Access Series.

    Code:

I'm going to hope that he dresses up like Dixon Hill & travels with B-4 from planet to planet on a shuttlecraft solving crimes.
My HEVC/H.265/x265 videos can be played with either VLC or MPC-HC

doing something with turpentine, got some on my hands, skin dried
out and cracked on the side of one thumb. Not painful, so my first
thought was "whatever, dude", but then when I had a shower and
a hair from my head snagged in the cracked skin and dragged along
like a violin bow? that's when things progressed to "ya-da-da-da!"

All those Health and Safety warnings are a pain in the neck. But, sometimes they do have a point. Cement is really hard on the hands; so is bitumen (which luckily washes off with white spirits); and I always wear latex gloves for handling rat poison!

What were you doing with turpentine? Not that many uses for it, these days.
Don't tell me you were baking a "special" cake for somebody...

white spirits is labelled here as mineral turpentine and I use it for
cleaning enamel paint and varnishes which date before the whole
'can be cleaned up with water' thing.

You're ok. I had an airless sprayer once upon a time and painted apartments en masse; swam in mineral spirits for a couple years and I'm fine. If that exposure didn't do me in it's ok.
    Dryness and redness sometimes.

*Feel free to quote this and insert any picture of people horribly burned poisoned etc; I couldn't find one good enough.

After always hating Google I have suddenly broke down and got a Google account.

Among other things, now I can comment on Youtube videos.

The world has just become a funnier place
