a petition of 20,000 christians has been raised to protest against the tv show good omens

if you haven't seen it, good omens is about the impending end of the world and the adventures of 2 protagonists, an angel sent down from heaven and a demon belched up from the other side, both of whom are friends

it's light hearted, comedic and quirkily english, as you would expect from writers neil gaiman and terry pratchett

the petition, set up by religious group return to order, claims that the show "mocks god's wisdom" and is "another step to make satanism appear normal, light and acceptable"

having surpassed their goal of 15,000 signatures, return to order imtended to write to netflix lobbying them to cancel the show

neil gaiman took great delight in this because the show is appearing on amazon prime, not netflix

Hey, let's not say something we can't take back.
My HEVC/H.265/x265 videos can be played with either VLC or MPC-HC

Baby hair with a woman's eyes, I can feel you watching in the night..
All alone with me and we're waiting for the sunlight, when I feel cold you warm me...
When I feel I can't go on you come and hold me, it's you and me forever...

Sara Smile, won't you smile a while for me?

I bet Salmon Rushdie is sat somewhere thinking "A petition, really?, that's all you get for mocking Christianity. I so picked the wrong religion to write a book about!"

    nominally true (allegedly) ......

in india, a statue of jesus on the cross began mysteriously dripping water from it's toes - worshippers hailed it as a miracle and many began collecting the drops to drink in the precious jesusness

it was later found to be caused by a blocked toilet nearby
