The regular season is over and the Raiders go 4-12. It's ok, they've done worse and there's always next year. I try not to think about it.
Romo still dead set on shooting himself in the foot.
Lovie and Andy gone already, buh-bye.
Poor Adrian 9 yards short of the record. 9. Yards. Eric Dickerson is probably still doing the happy dance.

    Bring on the playoffs!

Lovey Smith should have been retained. He went 10-6 in a division with two playoff teams. That's nothing to sneeze at. The only mistake he made was hiring Cutler.

Andy Reid on the other hand, should have been fired a long time ago. On the basis of moral and ethical bankruptcy. Repeatedly put coaching ahead of his own family's well being.

I don't think Lovey should have been fired either.

Cutler's been the best QB they've had since...well, forever.
(McMahon was seriously over rated as a QB and if it wasn't for Sweetness, he wouldn't even have a ring.)
And they really need some OL upgrades in Chicago.

I think whomever comes in at Chicago will end up being hailed as the next NFL "guru",
much like Payton came in after Haslett did all the hard work in New Orleans,
and Harbaugh after Singletary did all the hard work in SF.

They have most of the pieces now, all they need is a few extra guys,
and that "rah rah" inspirational coach.

"American" football, isn't that some sort of rugby?

Football is a generic term for ball sports which are played on foot rather than horseback, like Polo.

There is Rugby Football, American Football, Australian Football, Association Football(Soccer), etc.

I would say that Rugby is closer to American Football though. When we play pickup games at home or the park, it's closer to Rugby style, without the pads and less rigid. Both are fun.
