    Question

I have a Mahi Mahi fillet that's been vacuum packed and unthawed (but refrigerated) for about 4-5 days.

Does anyone think it would still be alright..?

I do cook my fish well done.
My HEVC/H.265/x265 videos can be played with either VLC or MPC-HC

Does anybody know how the story really goes, how the story really goes, or do we all just hum along..?

My guess is probably ok. But, you will know when you open it. If it doesn't smell right, dump it.
Does it suggest on the packaging how long it will keep in the fridge? Those directions are usually conservative - if it says 3 days, it should be fine.

I'm just wondering because it isn't exposed to air, Bond. It's still sealed in the package.

Misrule, the fillets comes sealed so I take them out of the bag and I can fit them in the small spaces in the freezer, so I don't have the big bag they came in.

Worse come to worse, I'll just dump it.

    Thanks to you both.

^ I eventually just dumped it. with all the chaos lately, I wasn't going to add to it.

I think maybe I'll pull a pink salmon fillet out for tomorrow night, I'll just eat it this time.
