Hope that it comes to nothing & you're back to normal soon Frosty. Boris just put the whole country on lockdown for at least 3 weeks as too many idiots were out yesterday congregating in parks. Do not leave the house except 1 session outdoor exercise per day by yourself, food shopping or medical needs, all shops not selling essential goods closed. Shit might finally get real for the deniers...

Keep an eye on each other and if a fever develops, do what the Doc says.

Donald finally lost control of the narrative today. He had no Dr Fauci at the briefing today and started talking nonsense so every major network and cable news network except you know who cut away from the briefing.

They asked the good Doctor for his opinion afterwards and got "no comment"

80% are supposed to have mild to moderate so we should be fine. So far the only thing we are taking is cough syrup.

We all still have the sore throats, no fever for the 2 of them (mine is at 99 so it's low grade) and I'm a bit sore. (nothing major)

Last night I was having a drink late when I noticed my throat getting sore and the kid started coughing this morning.

Our appetites are still good and tonight's dinner was sandwiches and pork n' beans for dinner.

The soup will come soon enough so we should enjoy eating more solids while we can.

He should come right out and say Trump is a dumbass, period.

Keep checking your temperature and don't screw around if it spikes. There have been confirmed reports here of a 25 year old male with no underlying condition in the hospital on oxygen. Don't assume, they don't know everything.

If you want facts, I may be able to help. As I said, my daughter started doing testing for this and is now doing basically a supervisors job (without the title or pay grade) training techs and troubleshooting problems that come up. She gets the latest guidance and hard facts from researchers so I can ask her if she knows something that I don't have an answer for right away. Be aware, this advice may not be absolute because they do not know everything yet. By the way, magic bullets do not exist for this thing yet. so don't believe the hype especially when it comes to that malaria drug that you know who is saying will cure everything. My daughter had a required course on advanced virology to get her degree in biology and as she put it to me "sure, there are any number of chemical compounds that can kill a virus. If I gave you cyanide it would kill it but it would kill you as well". The trick is to find the balance between killing or reducing the effects that a virus can have while making sure it does not harm the person that has it.

Get well soon and don't believe anything that Trump says.

The wife of an Arizona man who died after ingesting chloroquine phosphate to protect himself from the novel coronavirus urged the public on Monday not to "believe anything that the president says" and rely on doctors instead.
Play my h/x265 videos with MPC-HC 1.7.9 or VLC 2.2.1

Fever's still holding at 99 and the 2 of them have joined me with the fever.
We're a bit more phlegmy than we were yesterday but no issues bringing it up. (sorry for the visual)

This morning we has a small breakfast of scrambled eggs and I cracked open a can of biscuit dough.
They are already asleep again but I've got a load of laundry to do and dishes to wash.

Regardless of the visual. phlegmy is a better sign. This thing has a persistent dry cough as one of the major signs of a problem. We're all keeping you guys in our thoughts and prayers here in the current danger zone of the US.

My daughter told me that they did not get swamped yesterday with new samples to test after the weekend and they now have the capacity to do way more tests than are currently being sent to them. They cover both New York and New Jersey at her location.
