    Tinypic is biting the dust.

I love that they are pushing shitty Photobucket as an option.
My HEVC/H.265/x265 videos can be played with either VLC or MPC-HC

one thing I associate tinypic with is how it was not uncommon for
a picture to be deleted/expire(?) and they would reassign the URL
to another picture. So, you could be scrolling through a collection
of pictures and there'd be a random happysnap in the middle.

Since Photobucket was brought up, let me rail for a second about what they just did. All of the MEGA icons that Foamy and Misrule use suddenly have the PhotoBucket watermark over it. I'm actually curious to know what "triggered it" - did they hit a certain bandwidth limit?

I think it went like this:

    - PB cripple pics to try to make people buy subscriptions
    - people probably didn't, because it is expensive (and they aren't offering anything special)
    - PB restore pics, but watermark stuff on free accounts

The host of my signature has also long gone. So which picture-host do you recommend now?

The last time I used and recommended an imagehost, the imagehost owners noticed it being used to hotlink a lot at a certain forum - it was VEF - and replaced all the images there with a hideous image that was sick and disgusting. It was horrible. It was long ago, Jenny may remember it. I think that gave me a bad name at VEF.

    Since then I stay

was it a picture of a pizza which only had cheese as a topping?

(I don't actually want to know what the picture was)
