    filefactory

I've been getting broken dl's every time from them for the last week or so. They were overnight downloads so I'm wondering if perhaps my computer is suddenly doing something, but I do a simultaneous rapidgator download which finishes every time, so I'm thinking it's ff.

    Anyone else experiencing this?

No, but I think I've only download one FF link in the last week and it was a smaller file.

As a rule of thumb, unless I can't find it in any other shape or form, I stay away from that host.
My HEVC/H.265/x265 videos can be played with either VLC or MPC-HC

Filefactory has been doing this for a long time now. That's why we removed it from the preferred list in CM at VEF.

I think I found the reason. Every few hours my internet disconnects and the dl times out. Don't know why, network troubleshooter says 'DNS server not responding'. I reboot and it's fixed.

    Any ideas?

I'm on a crappy DSL line with bad wiring all around us, so I probably have to reboot mine 2x a day. No help here.

We pay for 20MBPS speed but they push 40-50MBPS through it in the hopes it stabilizes it a bit and reduces the drops.

    Thumbs up

we only use filefactory and also rapidgator if the files are 200mb and below,
and that still takes way too long even with a fast internet
