Hollywood talent agencies have a business model rife with conflicts of interest. This means they do whatís best
for them, even if itís not best for their clients. These conflicts hurt writers. The situation is bad, and itís getting worse.

ie, it boils down to packaging, taking the writer's work, tacking it on a
company, director, actor, whatever, AND then the Agency gets payments for
all they do with the writers work, BUT the writer ONLY gets paid for the script,
    NOTHING ELSE

    Is that a writer's screw-job, yep

PS we're already planned an early vacation if it happens

    Thumbs up

From November 5, 2007, to February 12, 2008, all 12,000 film and television screenwriters of the American labor unions Writers Guild of America, East (WGAE), and Writers Guild of America West (WGAW) went on strike.

again, if it happens, look for that same lack of new films and TV series/episodes, unless they are already shot
