    #1 in Jet Fuel Leaks

For 45 years a broken pipe leaked jet fuel into the ground at a site approx 2mi. from my house.
The plume from it has been found 500ft from the well that serves our VA Hospital.
It's now 'estimated' to be 24 million gallons, twice the Exxon Valdez spill, and has migrated off the AF base grounds.
The chemicals involved are persistent and incredibly toxic.
Discovered in 1999, -actually in 1993, but the AF denied it for 6 years- next to nothing has been done to clean it up in 15 years.

As much as I could use it, I'd rather not grow an extra head.

    "24million gallons"

unless I've counted it wrong, that is ~36 olympic swimming pools' worth.

I'd buy it but I don't have $18.99 to spare because I live in New Mexico.

this disturbs me it's so senseless.

It's true, in our society we have to be afraid of children.
