I've been completely unsupervised today (my two guys went fishing/overnight camping to a private pond one of my husband's clients own)

Dinner was a Marie Callender's Beef Sheppard's Pie. (Advanced apologies to our Brit members)

Not the greatest frozen Sheppard's Pie I've ever had but it was edible & about the size of a pot pie.
I had a few slices of buttered bread with it and the merlot flowed.
The mashed potato topping failed in every way (half on, half off) so I just stirred it into the mess and then dumped generous helpings of shredded cheddar in it.

Tell me, how do I feel?...tell me now, how should I feel?...

I've never seen that particular one. I like MC, I have a Swedish meatballs in the freeze I've been eyeballing.

I can't remember anything different that I ate yesterday but it hasn't sat well.

I haven't traveled 15 feet from a bathroom, I've already done one load of laundry and I've had 2 showers so far.

Sorry Frosty. Try not to sneeze. or cough. or laugh. hiccups are problematic, and farting is out of the question

had tacos for the first time in a long time and having 1/3 the filling
fall out onto the plate while eating them reminded me why.

^ Last night I had a chicken thigh left over from a mesquite grilling and was going to just nuke and chomp it, but realized I had taco mix, shells, lettuce, cheese, and salsa left over from tacos earlier in the week. Mesquite Chicken Tacos!

I chopped up the thigh and boiled/reduced it with the taco mix. I think the chicken meat swelled up absorbing the liquid, because I got 4 big tacos out of it.
And oh, boy, they were good. I'm grilling an extra piece from now on for this.

Want the best salsa ever? It makes a big difference as a taco topping:

Get the Sadies' hot salsa, or if wimpy get the not as hot. It rules.
