Well, I was planning on eating a really nice chef salad I got at Walmart yesterday but the kid and his friend were speeding through the house,
hit the table and my freshly dressed and ready to eat salad went all over the kitchen floor, so I made them clean up the mess.

I'm currently eating a couple of slices of Lil' Caesars $5 pizza. It's a piss poor substitute.

It can go with the kitchenflooromelette I made this morning.

Hubby's car is running lousy and he had to go to Phoenix this morning so he took mine, so I was grocery shopping at 6AM before he left.
I got home and the kid was helping me put them away when he handed me the big carton of 18 eggs and somehow I managed to drop them before I got to the fridge.

We all know how fun it is cleaning up broken eggs, though 4 did survive.

P.S. I did get another chef salad today so I'm hoping that doesn't get murdered either.

Pa still isn't back (later tonight) so the kid is having tomato soup and a grilled cheese & I'm eating a chef salad that wasn't knocked on the floor. Tasty.

as a child child tomato soup was the only soup I could stand. As
a man child I still prefer tomato, but am more open to others, like

    - carrot and potato
    - bacon, leek, and barley
    - minestrone

For some reason, I could never get myself to like tomato soup.

Maybe because I got spoiled with home made navy bean or pea soup made with smoked ham and the leftover bone. Grilled cheese, I always liked.

I like minestone, I had an Italian aunt who made a killer version of that
