I have an old 1 1/2qt. crock-pot (don't buy the new ones they just boil your food). I buy a roast when on sale, put 1/4 of it in the pot along with cut up red potatoes, mushrooms and some carrot if I'm in the mood, chicken broth, water, worcestershire, a smidge of grey poupon, A-1, a bit of onion and garlic powder + a pinch of salt & pepper.

Wait 7-8 hours and oo-la-wee! It's good for a hearty dinner and lunch the next day. I freeze the other 3 quarters of the roast so I can do it again 3 times, getting 8 meals out of 1 roast

Not sure about reduced salt but better flavor.

Pretty much. It's a cheap vinegary steak sauce scorned by gourmands. I don't use it on steak but love it's vinegary tang on hamburgers and other beef dishes.

I grabbed the wrong bag at the grocery store.
These are not bursting with flavor as the bag proclaims. They are so hard you can't chew them and have to let them soften in your mouth like a jawbreaker.
