It was a bit chilly tonight (for here 56/38F) and the kid and I went grocery shopping, so after we put everything away we had hamburger gravy & canned buttermilk biscuits,
and I filled him up with homemade hot cocoa before he went to bed.

Hubby is away for the weekend so I try to enjoy these mother/son moments while he's still young enough.

I'm eating a cheese-stuffed, bacon-wrapped chicken breast. I brined the breast first with worcestershire and spices added to the salt water.

Fried the breast first to mostly cook the bacon, then finished it off in the oven.

    Damn, it's good.

while I certainly wouldn't want it to happen...

if bond were now eaten by, say, a megalodon you could go onto some
megalodon forums and read about someone having bond-wrapped,
    cheese-stuffed, bacon-wrapped chicken breast.

We went to Golden Corral, picked up enough for 2 meals each. (they weigh the containers, and we paid $62)

    Typical x-mas stuff.

    Ham, turkey, roast beef...

Lunch will be (surprise, surprise)...turkey sandwiches.

I imagine it is like a petrol station where you squeeze squeeze squeeze
the pump to try and get the value at an even dollar amount, only it is
gravy* coming out of the hose instead of petrol.
