I'm making a huge 1/3 lb. green chile swiss cheeseburger and deep fryin' up some frozen fries, which I finally learned to fry properly and are really good.

The guys had pulled pork on hamburger buns, baked beans & canned corn.

I had a nice piece of pan fried pollock with a few fire roasted potatoes (potato wedges w/ fried red, green bell peppers & onions) and some of that corn.

omelette. Cheese may have been involved - police can't confirm its alibi.

I got me a hankerin' for something deep fried.

I do it about 3 times a month, that's not too bad. I'm not getting THAT fat.

My deep fry adventures have come around to where I can make just slap down killer chicken breast tenders - man they're so good I don't want to make anything else but them and fries when I do this.
Spice rub then double batter ooh - ooooh

But I feel I'm missing out, what are the things you guys like to deep fry or pan fry?

I don't know if you'd be able to find an equivalent, but I quite like corn jacks,
which have a sweet/cream corn filling inside a fairly thick battered coating.

I used some as a topping on pizza and it was good: salt & vinegary and not too hot.

    Those look good.

Living in Houston I ate a lot of jalapenos. yum-my. Mostly on nachos - I got hooked on jalapeno nachos for a while and ate metric tons of it. Finally quit just before my blood turned to cheese sauce.

Also great on hamburgers, sandwiches, ooh I could deep fry up some jalapeno poppers...they make the best salsa and guacamole...a chicken place near here sells the best jalapenos ever, I just eat them alone...

I'd be heavy into jalapenos still, but the green chile here is so good it made me forget about them. Your pic made the memories flood back.

    Good Times
