I put just a big pinch of that curry powder in taco meat and holy crap. It added a good flavor but left a burning sensation afterwards, which is not too bad either because I like hot stuff. It's got some heat.
I thought I'd be immune because I eat the extra hot New Mexico green chile, which few can handle, but this is different.

    I like it.

Late night snack: Some cubed up chicken breast, a light string cheese and an Outshine NSA tangerine fruit bar.

The guys had regular pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage patties, toast w/ orange juice & milk this morning.
I had a buckwheat pancake w/ margarine, scrambled eggs, a light string cheese & coffee plus 1 cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk.

I have to fast for 9 hours or so until my lipid test tomorrow so I had half a tuna sandwich, a pickle spear and a sugar free jello for my mini meal tonight.

Tomorrow morning I can have my meds and water.

I made half a peanut butter sandwich to take with me so I can put something in my stomach after the blood is drawn but before my shingles vaccination at 9.

I already made it because I didn't trust myself to make it in the morning when I'll be hungry.

That sounded good until you got to the rice cakes part.

I made beans, cornbread & green beans and that's what the guys had.

I had some beans, a minuscule bite of cornbread, some chopped up chicken breast and the last half of a bag of California style veggies.

I have found recipes for low carb versions of cornbread without the corn meal (mostly subs of coconut or almond flour) but is it still cornbread..? No.

Breakfast: The guys had Toasted O's (generic Cheerios) this morning, a bit of scrambled eggs & toast.
I had a cup of Toasted O's with the unsweetened vanilla almond milk, a bit of scrambled eggs & a light string cheese. (22g)

Not bad for a new morning addition to my breakfast rotation, though I'll just have a half package of equal in my cereal the next time (the "milk" was too sweet)
