Roast cauliflower with chickpeas, tahini, yoghurt, cumin seeds. It's really quick, vegetarian and tastes great.
Might just have a beer with that...

You didn't then roll all that up into a chalupa..?

The guys had breaded cod fillets, pink salmon fillet for me, fries, small roasting potatoes for me, store bought coleslaw, nuked cauliflower for me...

...and I made a batch of brownies earlier so dessert for them is settled.

Does anybody know how the story really goes, how the story really goes, or do we all just hum along..?

I was solo for lunch so I had a half a peanut butter sandwich on whole wheat, a glass of sugar free grape drink
& dessert was one no sugar added fudge pop with all its fake sugary goodness.

These are a bit carb-y at 9g (the milk) but only 2g of sugar per pop and the rest is fake sugar.
These aren't the usual treat but Walmart ran out of my no sugar added oatmeal raisin cookies and have no idea when they'll get more.

I'm getting tired of snacks being stuff like jello, string cheese & etc...because I'm hungry an hour later.

the calendar said it was National Lasagne Day, so I had lasagne,
lest the Lasagne Police come and kick down my door in the middle
    of the night.

Made from scratch hand-rolled garlic-basil-parmesan gnocchi, preceded by a watercress-based salad with a spirited vinaigrette; and concluded with home-churned raspberry-lemon sorbet.

are you kidding I ate some Cap'n Crunch

    but it did have Crunchberries

I drove to the Lucky Wishbone over here earlier, and Hubby had Pop sized steak fingers, the kid had Pop sized Fish,
and I cheated and had a double Lucky burger (or something like that). Just bread, two patties and cheese, added mayo when I got home.

Scrawny homeless dog got about 25% of it out in the parking lot so I didn't eat all of it, and I ate around a lot of the bread.
