A sumptuous chicken Alfredo topped with mozzarella for me. Breadsticks on the side.

Tonight we'll have beans & cornbread for dinner. (slow cooking most of the day)

Today was grocery shopping day and I picked up a bottle of bourbon to either celebrate my team winning the world series or commiserating our loss.

There's a little Mexican supermarket just down the road from us and a guy that has a food cart in the parking lot down there
and if I wouldn't end up buried in a piano crate, I'd eat there every week.

Usually we grab a dozen between the 3 of us and even though I have no trouble with it,
we get it without any jalapenos or other spicy stuff because the other two can't handle the heat.

I dropped a couple off at our little Vietnam Vet/Hippie buddy's place down the street.

The guys are having a cold meatloaf sandwich (simple: meatloaf, muenster cheese, mayo & choice of bread), chips & a small dinner salad.
I'm having a chicken cobb salad from the grocery store (chicken, romaine, cherry tomatoes, blue cheese, chopped bacon, croutons & avocado ranch.

Black bean burger with shredded mozzarella cheese, caramelized onions, green pepper, tomato, and fried egg with spicy ginger pickle. Strange combination but it was delicious.
