Lunch was 2 grilled cheese sandwiches and Pringles for the kid.

I had a small prepackaged chef salad with the high-fat swiss cheese chunks fed to the dog (he didn't seem to mind too much)
and the thimble full of ranch they gave it replaced with just enough vinegar & oil to coat the salad,
and a half bag of steamed broccoli cuts with a little healthier margarine added to it for flavor/flavour.

    Not too bad.

Baby hair with a woman's eyes, I can feel you watching in the night..
All alone with me and we're waiting for the sunlight, when I feel cold you warm me...
When I feel I can't go on you come and hold me, it's you and me forever...

Sara Smile, won't you smile a while for me?

    Snack time:

    A sugar free Popsicle.

It has a flavor but I'm not quite sure what it is though.

The box says cherry, orange & grape so since it's red it must be cherry.

pickled onion-imbued cheese. I like the sharp taste, but I hate
    the mess crumbly cheese makes.

Lunch was the rest of the "almost tuna salad" I made yesterday (I think I'll add a little lemon juice to it next time) with no whole wheat bread or tortilla,
and a half cup of cottage cheese, the other 6 oz. of California style veggies out of the bag and a half banana.

I'm supposed to find a low sodium cottage cheese but none of the stores here seem to have it.

Tonight was a poached cod filet with a half a bag of corn, and the usual half cup of cottage cheese.
I tried lemon juice and melted margarine on the fish and I wasn't a fan, I might pan fry it next time using the canola oil non stick spray.

I won't be eating any more corn after this, the double helping was 38 carbs. (I'm allowed 45-60...the less I eat, the more weight I might lose)

BTW: I did find out that Safeway has low sodium cottage cheese but it's also 1% milkfat instead of 4% for regular and 2% for low fat.
That's basically skim milk cottage cheese

whenever I read 'poached', outside of the context of eggs, I
picture a forest on royal lands and stealing stuff while avoiding
    a shotgun-toting gamekeeper.

Lunch was turkey breast lunch meat & cheese on a whole wheat tortilla (nuked to gooey goodness), 1% no salt added cottage cheese & a half bag of corn.

I bought two small tubs of that cottage cheese and that has to be the most bland thing I've ever eaten. Zero flavor.

I put a little lemon juice on it but after these 2 tubs are gone, I'll eat the 2% low fat but it's got to have salt in it.

Either the salt or the fat but there's got to be at least one in cottage cheese and I know of no other no salt ones but this one.

I also got the regular Mrs. Dash seasoning and it's okay but I think I'll get a couple of different ones to try out.
