So ... in recent Bi-Elections 36% of the UK population turned out and decided they really didn't know who to vote for, but they apparently did know who they DID'NT want to vote for. The proverbial swingometer looked a trifle static, if not for UKIP's sudden rise from the depths.

Finally, people seem to be beginning to realize that ALL their choices are Sub standard offerings. Took them long enough, but just like the Scottish Referendum they could see there wasn't enough icing on the cake.

Watching the candidates squirm pleased me no end .................................

36% Turn out? Me thinks mandatory voting is just around the corner ........

At least, for once, I'm getting a good laugh out of Politics .........................

this is how I've always voted and I'm not being cynical.

Different places will have different systems, of course, but where I
live you get a ballot with, say, 25 candidates and you either fill in a
minimum number (e.g. 5) or number the whole 25. I always start at
25 for the person I least want to win and work backwards from there.
